Sunday in the Park - A Curious Music Collective “pop-up” event

It’s been a stressful week for many of us with the flooding in town, staying indoors to avoid the weather or take care of wet basements! In spite of the stormy weather, many of our parks are open and flourishing after the rain with lush green grass and beautiful flowers. Come hear us share some music to help bring summertime cheer back to our city with a short acoustic set of songs to hopefully make your weekend a little brighter. We will be showing up at several neighborhood parks on Sunday June 30 - McKennan, Tuthill and Terrace to name a few - to share a sweet, informal “pop up” performance with you. A little more about the performers:

The musical duo of renowned Broadway vocalist Andrea Ross and her husband, principal cellist of the South Dakota Symphony, Robbie Erhard, blend their musical backgrounds to put an intimate and inventive spin on heartwarming songs from Broadway, jazz, folk and classical traditions. Andrea’s crystalline voice is balanced beautifully by the depth of Robbie’s cello playing. Their original arrangements feature layered harmonies and nuanced variation in the cello to create a rich yet intimate accompaniment to the voice. Together, they craft a heartfelt experience that transcends the boundaries of genre, delivering both nostalgic charm and technical mastery.
