About the event
Free to the public and free parking.
Join us at 5:30 PM with refreshments, and the concert starts at 6:30 PM at the auditorium in the lower level of the South Dakota Art Museum.
We will perform musical compositions alongside readings of original poetry by South Dakota State University students. Lawrence Diggs and Zach Van Harris III are our lead poets/writers, and Dr. Yi-Chun Lin is the music director of the program. We are also very honored to have Dr. Evie Chen and Dr. Sonja Kraus from University of South Dakota, as well as Kelsey Farr from SD Symphony, join forces in this program.
We want to give a special shout-out to Abigail Ramsbottom-Cuevas Panza, the Curator of Education at South Dakota Art Museum. Every single collaboration with her and the museum has been very inspiring and meaningful.
This will be our very last public performance! Hope to see many of you there…
